Ramblingmoms.com Review of You Are

Check out our latest review below from ramblingsmom.com:

“I recently was offered the opportunity to review a sweet board book called You Are: A book of declarations, by Emily Assell.

You Are is a small board book, perfectly sized for little hands and durable enough to withstand enthusiastic young readers.

My first impression was that the book is adorable. I love the whimsical images, the font is beautiful and easy to read. The colours are soft and warm. My little one grabbed it up to look at.

Most importantly, the message is very much needed in this day and age. In a society in which it’s so easy to fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to the “perfect” others we see, to the struggles we face, the uncertainty of whether or not we’re good enough or if we really matter, and much more, kids need to be taught that no matter what happens, they have worth and value and gifts and God loves them and created them for a purpose. Scripture references are included with each declaration in You Are.

Don’t underestimate the power of words, especially declarations of God’s word over our little ones!
